Founded by Robin Sevrina Olson, Host House was born out of a love for all things home and entertaining. Based in Carmel, California, Robin utilizes her 25 years of experience in event production, design, and retail brand marketing to curate Host House services and offerings. Robin spent five years in Shanghai, China with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosting U.S. and Chinese government events. She was then a leader on the brand marketing and events teams for seven years with Target Corporation in both Minneapolis and Toronto, producing product launches, press previews, fashion shows, and red carpet events featuring A-listers, designers and musicians.

Since moving to California in 2013, Robin has renovated and designed a number of homes in California turning them into successful vacation rentals, furnished turn key dwellings for clients, or has sold them move-in ready to happy buyers. She is also the owner of Robin Sevrina Events, an established planning and production company started in Carmel ten years ago. Robin designs, plans and produces events for private clients and name brands.

Opening Host House retail store in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea is a dream come true for Robin, she has wanted a shop her whole life ever since she played “store” as a child. Visit the shop now open on 6th Ave., inbetween Dolores and San Carlos St.!
